Studying in Finland

Finland is known worldwide for high-quality education. Studies in a Finnish university of applied sciences (UAS) are a practical-oriented alternative to traditional university education. Studies consist of a combination of hands-on skills along with a strong theoretical knowledge base. A university of applied sciences degree is geared to the requirements and development of working life.

All Finnish universities and universities of applied sciences are state-recognized. The Finnish Higher Education Evaluation Council audits the quality management systems of the higher education institutions regularly.
