Middlesex University has been rewarded with a Silver for our high-quality teaching in the country’s first Teaching Excellence Framework awards. This new government scheme looks at how well students are taught at universities across the UK.

Top rankings in London and worldwide
The third highest-ranked modern university in London in the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide. We were particularly commended for continuing to invest in the student experience through enhanced services and facilities. The ranking evaluates universities on student satisfaction, research quality, entry standards, graduate prospects, good honours, completion, student-to-staff ratio as well as services and facilities spend.

Middlesex University is also one of the top 500 universities in the world in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings. We are the only modern university in London to feature in the list. The rankings benchmark performance in teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook.
