Visit the city parks and shoot some hoops, take a swim or go hiking. Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area is just 20 minutes down the road.

The Shoe Tree
Love is in the air! A tradition since the late 1960s, Racer “sole” mates who meet on campus hang their shoes on the Shoe Tree, which is said to bring them a lifetime of good luck.
All Campus Sing
For more than 60 years, All Campus Sing showcases the musical and dance talents of student organizations across campus.
Campus Lights
Started in 1938, Campus Lights is the longest-running musical in the south that is entirely produced and performed by students.
Racer One
Clear the track! For more than 40 years, Racer One has been helping fans celebrate touchdowns with a victory lap around the field.

A place for everyone.
Located in the heart of the campus, just off Olive Boulevard and 15th Street, historic Lovett Auditorium is one of the four original structures on campus, since 1926.
The Arboretum is one of the crown jewels of Murray State and the Murray community. Come take a stroll, go for a run, or walk your leashed dog on our 0.8 mile long track.
The Clara Eagle Art Gallery is a dramatic and exciting multi-level exhibition space. An integral part of the Department of Art, it serves as a unique source for experiencing fine art first hand.
